Event: Deck The Halls 3
Solemn Oath Brewery & Pardon My Thrashing Bring You The Third Annual “Deck The Halls Event”
Thursday 11-29-2018 – Come stand up for Grant Park Skate Park and enjoy a FREE award winning documentary. We are having trouble with some NIMBYs (not in my backyard) who keep complaining about the skatepark in Grant Park, so we are taking a positive approach. They are pressing Chicago Alderman, Police, and the Park District to get rid of the skatepark. It’s crazy! These people have the right people listening to them, because they vote and simply do not like the diverse demographic that the skatepark supports. They have already reduced park hours from 11 pm to 9pm and installed security cameras. This is areal threat to skateparks in Chicagoland. We want to fill the theater which seats 100 people. We want a strong showing to show the NIMBYs and people against outdoor activity, and the skate park in Grant Park that we have the numbers. This is really important and we need to show the Chicago Park District as well. The key word, here, is attendance! Please come to the theater! Video Trailer (You Tube): HERE
